Description

1601 K is prominently located two blocks from the White House. Its architecture is highly contextual and strongly contributes to the spirit of its 16th Street location, home to many of the capitol city’s most prestigious institutional, diplomatic, and residential addresses. The structure’s primary street facades feature armatures of limestone, precast, and granite, articulated with punched openings and applied bays featuring painted formed fiberglass components, evocative of traditional pressed metal detailing.

The main K Street entrance welcomes guests with a broad canopy of glass and painted steel. Italian white marble, glass and lacquer panels are featured within the building’s elegant two story lobby.
