Description
Driven by the desire to upgrade their hotel's public spaces and address functional problems with the existing space plan, Donohoe Development hired WDG to provide interior architecture and design services for its public area renovations. The amenity spaces for this 500-room hotel include the lobby, reception, and adjoining common areas, along with a management office, a bar/bistro, and a business center. With the mindset of creating wide, uncluttered, yet interesting spaces, the interior designers focused on using earth-toned color accents, simple fixtures, and relevant furnishings. And what result are public areas that encourage a seamless flow and use, while exhibiting an inviting and comforting quality.
