Description
With the goal of creating a welcoming and engaging administrative environment, WDG provided planning and design services for a fit-out 40,000-sf space at Portals III for the administrative offices of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. The interior designers used an abundant amount of glass to allow natural light to spread from the rooms with windows into the more recessed areas of the office; the usage of glass also expresses an open, cooperative work environment. WDG worked closely with the tenant and building ownership to achieve tight milestones; WDG accelerated the design schedule for both design intent drawings and construction and also provided permit expediting services.
