Description

As Tysons, VA undergoes its metamorphosis from suburban chaos to exciting urban center, a new metro station and surrounding development re-imagines the area’s character. Spring Hill Station brings modern design that facilitates community. Soaring up to 270’ tall, the Ascent, a 26-story luxury residential apartment, is the tallest building in Tysons and is the first completed multifamily residential building at Spring Hill. Adding 404 luxury apartments to the market, the Ascent is the first of its kind in the region and defines a new standard of residential living.

According to Brandon Henry, Managing Director for Greystar, “The Ascent will help fill a much needed housing void in Tysons, while appealing to prospective residents looking for luxury, convenience and a greener lifestyle.” Located on a 1.58 parcel that is a part of a 7 million-sf mixed use planned development, The Ascent is conveniently located within a 1/8 mile walking distance to the Spring Hill Road Metro, Silver Line. It is the first completed block in Spring Hill Station.

Contemporary design reinforces the building’s iconic presence. Aesthetic goals were guided by an analysis of the area’s current demographic, as well as its projected evolution—Gen X to urban Millennials. Residents enjoy high-end features such as floor to ceiling glass walls, wood flooring, and gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops.  Residential amenities include a social room, fitness center and pool located on the rooftop which offers spectacular views of the surrounding Washington DC Metro area.
