Mr. Cho is an Associate Principal with WDG and brings over 25 years of industry knowledge and experience on over 100 projects across many commercial development sectors. He leads the design team on numerous complex and award-winning architecture and urban design projects for the firm. His responsibilities include establishing a vision and executing the projects’ design goal. His current focus includes multifamily residential, hospitality, and mixed-use commercial projects in transit-oriented, complex urban infill settings.

Mr. Cho implements sensitive design strategies that are finely tuned to context and uses, and creates narrative and expression with clarity in both aesthetics and function. His organic process synthesizes conceptual considerations from analysis of massing, program, site, and zoning parameters to achieve both visionary and practical solutions. He is an advocate for creating new architecture that is sustainable and timeless, and fosters a design process that strives to achieve design excellence.

His understanding of regulatory parameters and involvement in the public realm is efficient in navigating various stages of the regulatory approval process. His vision of complex issues and development knowledge knits projects into the local fabric and produces high-quality architecture.

Prior to joining WDG, Mr. Cho worked on numerous high-profile international projects in Ellerbe Becket’s New York and DC offices. In 2002, he joined Shalom Baranes Associates and started his extensive involvement in mixed-use multifamily projects.
