Esther Christian, AIA, LEEP AP - Ms. Christian has been promoted to Senior Associate. A 14 year industry veteran, she brings passion for great architecture and strong leadership to all of her projects – from early concept to post-occupancy evaluations. She is an advocate for empowering designers and owners to reframe the collective understanding of sustainability and embraces the many significant impacts the 2030 Commitment imparts on the built environment. She is integral to the firm’s success.
Laura Lago-Garrido, AIA, LEED Green Associate - Ms. Lago-Garrido joined WDG Architecture in 2016 and has almost two decades of project experience in planning, designing, documenting and coordinating mixed-use, residential, and commercial projects. Through her attention to detail, communication and management of team coordination, she ensures clients’ needs are met on time and on budget. Ms. Lago-Garrido is currently developing the CD drawing set for one of the most exciting development projects in the DMV area - Founders Row – a nearly 1 million SF of multifamily housing, multiple screen movie theater and mixed-use development in the city of Falls Church, Virginia.
James Murphy, AIA, LEED AP, BD+C - Mr. Murphy has been promoted to Associate with WDG Architecture. He joined the firm in 2012 and serves as a Construction Administrator for the firm’s multifamily and commercial projects. He is passionate about construction and is currently providing construction oversight on the 500,000 SF multifamily housing project Portals V located at the Tidal Basin in Washington, DC.
Sandra Eremic, LEED AP - Ms. Eremic has been promoted to Associate for WDG Interiors. She joined the firm in 2011 and has over 20 years of design experience in a wide range of projects types including multimillion dollar commercial design. Her experience includes award-winning projects from high-end home renovations to large-scale, multi-tenant office and multifamily buildings. Her portfolio includes government fit-outs for the DC Department of General Services, Inter-American Bank, National Labor Relations Board, and the National Science Foundation. Sandra is highly regarded for team leadership.
