Experience: 12+ years, licensure required

Education: Professional degree in architecture from an accredited program

At least 12 years of experience and a minimum of 6 completed projects. Manages large, complex, or multiple projects, oversees junior project managers, and may step into team leadership in the absence of the Managing Principal.

Qualifications

  • Architectural licensure required; sustainable design certification preferred

  • Mastered leadership, financial management, and client relationship expertise

Responsibilities

  • Direct full project lifecycle operations to ensure quality, code compliance, and client satisfaction
  • Lead strategic project planning, fee estimations, proposals, and contract negotiations
  • Oversee and mentor Project Managers and technical teams
  • Manage project financial performance, scope changes, and risk assessments
  • Maintain primary client communication and foster long-term business growth
  • Enforce firm-wide QA/QC practices
