Spring Hill Station Master Plan Wins Award of Excellence

NAIOP Northern Virginia awarded WDG Architecture and The Georgelas Group an Award of Excellence for the Best Master Plan for Spring Hill Station. The theme for this year's awards was "Focus on Excellence." Spring Hill Station is a 32-acre mixed-use development with a total of 7.5 million square feet, including 2 to 3.5 million-sf of office space, 2.1 to 5.1 million-sf of multifamily residential, over 180,000-gsf of ground level retail and as much as 770,000-gsf of hospitality uses.  The first completed building is The Ascent, a 416,834-sf, 26-story, 404-unit apartment building, which is currently the tallest building in Tysons Corner, VA. Spring Hill Station was the first such rezoning project approved by Fairfax County and was the official demonstration project for the Tysons Corner Comprehensive Plan.
