WDG supported a major infrastructure transformation with the successful migration of network connections from Wonder Plaza to the new Ralph Bunche Data Center. Executed over an intensive 45-day period, the project was delivered through eight carefully sequenced phases, meeting the client’s commitment with precision and zero operational downtime.
This initiative extended beyond a standard technology migration. The project required coordinated physical building transitions across four to 13 buildings per phase, requiring detailed logistics planning, stakeholder communication, public-facing updates, and real-time issue resolution.
Key infrastructure enhancements included the installation of dual-redundancy connections across all buildings. A critical milestone was the completion of a 288-strand fiber backbone, establishing a robust framework to support future growth and scalability.
Weekly coordination meetings, including through the winter holiday period, ensured alignment across teams and rapid response to emerging challenges. This collaborative cadence was central to maintaining schedule, resolving issues, and delivering a seamless customer experience.
