Full interior architecture and design services for a full floor, 55,000-sf tenant fit-out.

Description

The GSA Undisclosed Tenant presented us with the challenge to create workspaces reflective of the Government’s current and growing trends. The objective was to establish an attractive modern environment that will appeal to and retain newer generations of employees while accommodating the agency’s needs and sensitive security information. The task demanded equal attention to the integration of current requirements and standards that allow existing and future employees to perform their job functions.

This project has exceeded the agency’s expectations to showcase the significance of its responsibilities and civic duty. The culture and evolving modern innovations of the tenant resonate throughout the entire 55,000-sf office. Features imperative to achieving their goals include abundant natural light, ecologically-conscious building materials and processes, and open contemporary entrances and common areas that incorporate sophisticated glass, wood and marble finishes.  As the tenant transitioned to smaller workstations and fewer offices to incorporate an increase in personnel, WDG ensured the aesthetic of its interior architecture was not comprised.
