240,000-sf, 15-story hotel with 336 guest rooms, 2 restaurants, and 10,000-sf of conference space.

Description

A sophisticated and relaxing retreat for the senses, The Westin Arlington Gateway, a $75 million, 336-room-upscale hotel, officially joined the bustling Ballston neighborhood of Arlington on March 1, 2006. The hotel’s sleek design, soothing color palette and luxurious amenities bring refreshing style to the expanding Ballston-Rosslyn corridor of Arlington at the intersection of Wilson Boulevard and Glebe Road.

The hotel offers unique accessibility to the vibrant Arlington community and a location that is convenient to all our nation’s capital has to offer. The 238,700-sf property is owned by The JBG Companies and managed by Westin Hotels & Resorts, the-upper-upscale brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. Construction began in February, 2004, making The Westin Arlington Gateway the first luxury hotel to be built in Arlington in over 13 years.

The Westin Arlington Gateway features four upgraded floors, including the Westin Executive Club, 10,000-sf of meeting facilities, a 6,800-sf ballroom, a state-of-the-art business center, comprehensive fitness center, indoor pool with whirlpool, and valet parking.

As the third and final building to be constructed as part of the one million-square-foot mixed-use Arlington Gateway development, The Westin Arlington Gateway joins The Continental at Ballston, a 411-unit condominium building finished in September 2003, and the Arlington Gateway, a 325,000-square-foot Class-A office building. All three buildings in the complex were designed by WDG Architecture.
