Description

Aspire at BridgeMill is a market-rate senior living community in Canton, Georgia. Positioned on the rolling hills northwest of Atlanta, the community spans 15 acres, offering independent and assisted living units, as well as a memory care facility with 24-hour supervision. The development also includes 26 single-family cottages, with two unique designs. 

Upon entering, landscaped tree-lined streets surrounding the cottages and the central road welcome residents and guests. The community’s main building serves as an anchor, with an angular, single-peaked roof marking its entrance. The building phases from two to four levels along the site, distinguishing the assisted and independent living wings, with large dormer windows on the top floor. This approach utilizes unused loft space, influencing and maximizing unit layouts, while modernizing the craftsman-style design. Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology will be wired in the doors and units throughout the development. This advanced system will be utilized for security and tracking, managed through a digital control center that will monitor everyone entering and exiting the community.

Due to the sloping nature of the site, a terrace was designed to transition into the courtyard. This level hosts many of the community’s amenities, including the main dining room and private dining with a transparent wine wall, a salon, massage spa and indoor pool, and fitness center. From the terrace level, large French doors lead to the expansive 35,000-sf courtyard. The grounds offer various activities catered to resident needs—an outdoor pool, fire pits, grilling area, and a putting green. A therapeutic wandering garden designed for memory care residents provides a stimulating and relaxing environment.
